5th Regional Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility
When: September 25-26, 2006
Where: Manila, Philippines
On September 25-26, 2006, the Asian Institute of Management/AIM-RVR Center for Corporate Responsibility will host the 5th Regional Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility in Manila, Philippines. The Conference will be capped by the gala ceremonies of the Asian Corporate Social Responsibility Awards.
The 2006 conference carries the theme: Harnessing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Development and Democracy. The organizers believe that the way to harness CSR is to empower businesses to undertake projects and programs that contribute to economic and social development. In this light, the conference will go beyond advocacy and public relations techniques. Emphasis will be on making CSR integral to the way we do business and how to plan, choose, implement, measure, monitor and improve CSR for development. We expect between 400 to 500 business executives and NGO leaders from more than 15 countries to attend the conference.
At this year’s conference, the following partners will be in attendance.
