ANAN, EFCC collaborate to fight corruption

The President of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Prof. Edet Iwok, said there have been collaborative meetings between the association, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Federal Ministry of Commerce on ways of fighting corruption.

Iwok stated this at the inauguration of the new executive of the Abuja branch of ANAN in Abuja on Monday.

He urged members to embrace the call to fight corruption with all their might in whatever they do, for the benefit of all Nigerians.

The ANAN president recalled that during a visit to President Olusegun Obasanjo in July 2005, he submitted a copy of the outcome of the association's national conference on ways to eradicate corruption in the Nigerian society.
