Global sustainable investment specialists EIRIS have signed an agreement with IW Financial, a leading US-based SRI group, granting them the exclusive right to distribute its international social and environmental research in the US, it was announced today.
The agreement builds on EIRIS’ existing presence in the US and will increase the number of US based asset managers able to benefit from EIRIS’ international research expertise.
For IW Financial, a leading provider of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting, the agreement marks the continued expansion of the firm’s global research offerings and will give its clients access to EIRIS’ social and environmental research on over 1,500 companies outside the US through a new technology platform, the EIRIS International Workstation.
US investors now have access to the industry’s most respected global coverage of a broad range of research issues including the environment, corporate governance and human rights, labour standards, compliance with international conventions, and other ethical issues of concern such as military involvement and genetic engineering. In all, EIRIS provides in-depth coverage on over 60 different issues.
