WBCSD.org "by far" the best source of information on sustainable development

The 2006 Globescan Survey of Sustainability Experts again ranked the website of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) as the best source of information on sustainable development.

Almost half of all experts (44%) from five sectors – corporate, government, voluntary, academia, and service – cited the WBCSD as the number one source of information on sustainable development. This is a 16 point increase from 2003 and a 4 point increase from 2004.

“The WBCSD website is not only viewed as the best, by far, for information on sustainable development, it is increasingly seen this way,” says the report.

Other websites mentioned by experts include, in ranking order, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (16%), various United Nations websites (15%), the World Resources Institute (11%), Worldwatch Institute(2%) and EU sites (1%).
