
There is now a Chinese translation of the World Resources 2002-2004 Guide (read the entire report). The guide was translated by WRI partners He Jun and Hu Xinping of the World Agroforestry Centre (also known as ICRAF) Kunming office.
World Resources 2002-2004: Decisions for the Earth: Balance, Voice, and Power focuses on the importance of good environmental governance by exploring how citizens, government managers, and business owners can foster better environmental decisions that meet the needs of people and ecosystems with equity and balance. As the world's most populous nation with one of the fastest growing economies and some of the most complex natural resource challenges anywhere, environmental governance decisions in China will have lasting financial and environmental impacts for the billion-plus Chinese citizens and indeed the entire world.
