ABI calls for executive pensions review


The Association of British Insurers has warned the UK’s top 350 companies that shareholders will take a dim view of excessive severance pay packages.

The ABI, which represents about a fifth of UK shareholders, is concerned that company executives have contracts entitling them to big boosts to their pension pots as part of their severance packages.
