For a long time hedge funds were a privilege of the rich but as they seem to create alpha, more and more countries are opening up their legislation and allowing small investors to invest in them. However, unless you understand their strategy it is difficult to understand in which type of markets they will perform well.
Professor Jan Simon intents to demystify the world of hedge funds in this session. He will try to make clear what they do and whether it makes sense to use them in a portfolio.
The session will be followed by a light reception, to provide the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues.
