* There has been structural economic reform in Latin America, she says. However, "the problem has not been with open economies, but the lack of action to deal with poverty and social injustice."
* She says she is governing with a view that "there is no incompatibility between growth and the distribution of wealth. Indeed, we are convinced there is a virtuous relationship between both of them."
* As for her country, she says, "Trust Chile, believe in Chile, and invest here. It's a stable country, pretty low risk, and we have developed serious and responsible policies."
