Nominations now open Australia-wide for the United Nations Association of Australia World Environment Day Awards 2007. The Awards recognise those businesses, local governments, community organisations, schools, individuals and the media whose work serves to protect, manage or restore the environment. In 2007, the Association introduced the 'Sustainability Victoria Meeting the Greenhouse Challenge Award' for excellence in the implementation of innovative strategies for greenhouse gas reduction. The Award invites nominations from all sectors.
