Asian governance under fire


Asia’s long bull-run has barely been affected by the market turmoil sparked by this summer’s US subprime crisis. But instead of congratulating themselves, regulators and market participants should step up efforts to reform the region’s still incomplete corporate governance architecture lest they store up future problems.
