T. Boone Pickens Highlights Plan for Reducing U.S. Dependence on Foreign Oil
Over 100 executives attend Wall Street Journal Viewpoints Executive Breakfast
More than 100 prominent New York-based executives and business leaders, as well as representatives of various media outlets, recently attended the Wall Street Journal Viewpoints Executive Breakfast Series at the Regency Hotel in New York.
This event marked the third installment of the series, which was organized by IESE Business School, BCG and The Wall Street Journal, and hosted by Alan Murray, Deputy Managing Editor.
During the conference, guest speaker T. Boone Pickens, legendary oilman and founder of BP Capital and TBC, described the "Pickens Plan", his formula for reducing the United State's dependence on foreign oil through the use of natural gas and the development of domestic wind and solar power.
