Accounting skills are key to turn around banking crisis


Grads with accounting skills should be busy clearing up the city's financial mess

The banking crisis and troubled economy could be a boon for accountancy graduates, according to a graduate careers expert.

Charlie Ball, deputy director of research at the Higher Education Careers Service Unit, said accounting skills were required to clear up the financial mess so many city firms find themselves in.
