Six key messages from the Climate Congress


Here, in full, is the summary of findings issued at the close of this week's Climate Congress meeting of scientists in Denmark

Over 2,500 scientists at the Climate Congress in Copenhagen yesterday issued a summary of the conference's key findings and presented it to Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who will host the forthcoming UN-backerd climate change talks in December.

The summary consists of six key messages for negotiators designed to update the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report, which was published in 2007 and relied on research undertaken up to four years ago.
