Can you make big money by being ethical?

Green funds took a beating when the world financial markets nose-dived.

But with the early signs of a recovery, they have been put back on the agenda for investors who want their money to make a difference.

So-called ethical investing still makes up only a small part of investors' money.

All UK funds pulled in £7.23bn between July and September this year, but just £59m of this went into socially responsible funds.
