
Fianna Fail TDs plan to press John Gormley, the Green party leader, to reverse or dilute a number of his policies including the carbon levy, a ban on stag hunting and reform of local government.
The TDs are also likely to suggest changes to upcoming legislation to regulate dog-breeding at Fianna Fail’s parliamentary party meeting, which Gormley has been asked to attend on Tuesday.
Backbenchers say they plan to use the opportunity to highlight concerns about other Green initiatives, although it is thought unlikely Gormley will grant any concessions.
