
Legal firms are managing to keep hold of top-performing female professionals by stepping up their flexible working provisions, it has been revealed.
According to a new study of the profession carried out by The Lawyer, growing numbers of companies are offering their top female professionals flexible working incentives to allow them to better juggle their careers and family lives.
Furthermore, the research also found a direct link between a high take-up of flexible working schemes and the number of female partners in a firm, with the findings showing that those companies with the highest number of part-time lawyers also have the highest number of high-flying women.
