The Complications of Measuring Water Use


In The New York Times on Wednesday, I reported about the Carbon Disclosure Project’s new campaign to get global corporations to report their water use.

Climate change is expected to worsen water shortages in the coming decades, and 137 international financial institutions are backing the Carbon Disclosure Project’s effort.

The London-based nonprofit organization acts on behalf of investors and has been successful at persuading hundreds of the world’s largest companies to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions.
