
Sustainable investing has not yet reached the top of many institutional fund agendas.
There have always been more important problems to address, even though fiduciaries would acknowledge that this subject is important.
One of the issues is that sustainable investing means different things to different people. To many, it’s about the environmental agenda, particularly the issue of climate change, while, to some, it can only be defined in strict financial terms. Also, sustainable investing can be a more visionary issue about how we ensure people draw real and rewarding pensions in the long term.
