Investors encouraged to rail against companies under new stewardship code
Insitutional investors may "escalate their actions" if board fails to take heed of their concerns
Investors are being encouraged to strong arm company boards if they don’t agree on key issues, under a landmark stewardship code released today.
Institutional investors will be asked to draw up a list of escalating steps they can take if they have concerns about the strategy and performance of a company they invest in.
