Will electric cars actually save the environment? Or is it over-hyped?
Writing in The Telegraph, Timothy Gibson says the electric car is no silver bullet as a number of issues need to be resolved. Most people would not consider buying them because of concerns about the driving range of such vehicles on a single charge, the lack of charging points, the cost of purchase and the ongoing running costs.
