Canberra's ecological footprint growing

A new report shows ACT residents are highly dependent on land and resources and are leaving a big environmental footprint.

The ACT Office of the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment has commissioned Sydney University to study of the ACT's ecological footprint.

The footprint is a calculation of the amount of land and water required to support a community's lifestyle.
