Taking out the trash has a whole new meaning when it comes to large businesses and government institutions such as the University of the Fraser Valley. The amount of waste generated is substantial and when it comes to finding a system that is environmentally conscious, the options for waste removal are not obvious, nor quick and easy.
On Thursday March 17 from 1:30-5:30 pm, UFV and Xerox are hosting Trash Talks at the UFV Abbotsford campus in room B121 to help Fraser Valley residents and business leaders better understand how waste management works from product construction to landfill. Trash Talks serves as a panel discussion and dialogue to explore strategies and approaches to help Fraser Valley communities move closer to Zero Waste. This event is open to the public.
