The dirty, clean Czech Republic

Since 1990, the Czech Republic has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by over 30%, far exceeding the Kyoto Protocol target of 8%, according to a recent country report by the OECD. But its emission intensity, (the level of emissions per unit of economic output) is one of the highest among the mostly rich-country group of the OECD.
