The Global Gender Gap Report 2011

The World Economic Forum has just published “The Global Gender Gap Report 2011.”

Fewer countries made strides toward improving equality between men and women this year, while Nordic countries hold the top spots in gender equality ranking of 135 nations. Iceland claimed the top spot for the third year in a row, followed by Norway, Finland and Sweden. Spain ranked 12th.

The report measures the difference between men’s and women’s economic participation and opportunities, educational attainment, health and survival and political empowerment.
