The meeting of the High Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming will take place on 11-12 September in Vilnius, Best Western Hotel, Glass Hall. It is a regular meeting, held during each Presidency of the Council of the EU, together with the European Commission. Meetings aim to ensure a constant and systemic cooperation between European Commission and the Member States. High Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming is an informal group, comprised of high level gender equality officials and representatives of the European Commission.
Representatives of all 28 Member States‘ institutional gender equality mechanisms and the European Commission will participate at the meeting. The participants will be welcomed by the Minister of social security and labour, Ms Algimanta Pabedinskienė. TRIO meeting with the European commission will take place before the meeting of the High Level Group.
