Sky the limit for Mexico wind

The President of Mexico has said no limit will be set for private renewables investors wanting to do business in the country under its energy reform.

In a statement read to delegates at the Mexico WindPower 2014 conference by energy secretary Pedro Joaquín Coldwell, Enrique Peña Nieto (pictured) hailed the sector as offering a way to counter “the current negative impact on the environment”.

He added: “The use of renewable energy is there to help us solidify the path which will rekindle humankind with nature.”
