Effective boards require directors with varied skills


Proper appraisal of members is another area to look into, says minister

Directors have to confront any number of issues, but two were highlighted by Minister of State for Transport and Finance Lim Hwee Hua - whether the right person has been picked for the board in the first place and how their performances can be judged.
