Issues on tap at Regulatory Compliance Seminar


The most current information sought by credit union staff with regulatory compliance responsibilities is in store for participants of NAFCU’s Regulatory Compliance Seminar and Track II Compliance Program, slated Oct. 10-13 at the Hyatt Regency at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

This year’s program including the optional one-day Track II program, focuses on new regulations and hot topics in compliance, including requirements under the Bank Secrecy Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s “blocked persons” list, an update on Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act rules, guidance for online authentications, information security and pandemic planning.

The Track II Compliance Program, facilitated by Tom Glatt Sr., CPA, is an intensive one-day program on how to plan and prepare for disaster-related compliance issues. The program uses case studies and group exercises for practical learning and application.
