Independant Audit Limited published a report on board effectiveness:

A survey of reporting by boards in the wake of the revised Combined Code. Looking at how they report on their activity, their approach to evaluating their performance and communication with shareholders.

This survey looks at how FTSE 100 companies approached the revised Combined Code’s requirements for reporting board effectiveness. It covers the 85 reports published between the beginning of January and the end of August 2004.
