Confidence in audited accounts back on track, ICAEW

According to new research by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, the level of investor confidence in UK audited financial information remains high.

Faith in US audited accounts is also recovering, in the aftermath of major corporate scandals such as WorldCom and Enron.

ICAEW found that 87% of UK investment fund managers express a 'great deal' or a 'fair amount' of confidence in UK audited financial information.
