Active Compliance Is Becoming a Reality
In our spending survey conducted in late 2004—the AMR Research Report “Spending in an Age of Compliance, 2005”—we asked companies what most motivated them to spend on compliance. Four responses topped the list:
Risk of noncompliance—33%
Automation and repeatability—21%
Establishing a defendable environment—21%
Reduction in overall costs—18%
