Ethical Capitalism. Ethical Leaders

When Warren Buffett was asked what the three key attributes of corporate leaders were, his response was "Integrity, intelligence, and energy. Without the first, the other two will kill you." This perfectly underscores the importance of running a corporate entity based on ethics. While intelligence and energy are critical elements in the ultimate success of a company, integrity, and by extension ethics, is the crucial ingredient that enables a company to thrive, and in many cases survive when it comes upon hard times. This of course leads to a discussion about what factors are needed to create a company where ethics and integrity are the bedrock upon which it is built.
