On the road to adopting effective corporate governance strategies

The greatest challenge to the Jamaica business sector adopting a corporate governance strategy, lies in finding a balance between issues of ethics and the forces of competition and profit which typically drive businesses.

"Corporate governance is a frame of reference and a guide to decision-making," says Karl Wright, president and chief executive of the Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS).
