U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pennsylvania, will speak about the landmark Sarbanes-Oxley Act to highlight an April 18 panel discussion sponsored here by the National Investor Relations Institute's Pittsburgh Chapter.
The panel discussion is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, April 18 at the Rivers Club, One Oxford Center, 301 Grant St.
Santorum is a member of the Senate Banking Committee, which shaped the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in 2002 to restore confidence in the U.S. financial markets after a string of financial reporting scandals.
