High ethical standards should be the key ingredient for effective corporate governance, Bahrain managers were told last night.
Managers should act on a fully-informed basis, in good faith and in the interest of the company, said Saudi National Commercial Bank's Bahrain general manager Saleh Hasan Ali Hussain.
He was speaking at a dinner organised by the Bahrain Management Society (BMS) at the Regency InterContinental Hotel.
The topic of his presentation was: Corporate Governance: main principles.
