Company Outperforms 88% of Peers
Sensient Technologies Corporation (NYSE:SXT) today announced that the Company received a high score on its Corporate Governance Quotient (CGQ), the corporate governance rating issued periodically by Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), as a result of its strong corporate governance. In the new CGQ scores as of May 1, 2005, the Company outperformed 85.2% of the companies in the S&P 400 Index and 88.0% of the companies in the materials group (the "industry ranking"). The CGQ rating was developed by ISS as a tool for monitoring and comparing the corporate governance of America's leading publicly-traded companies.
