Ten Action Steps Proposed to President Yushchenko by the Participants at the Extraordinary Ukraine Roundtable

The recent World Economic Forum (Davos) Conference on the Ukraine held in Kiev, on 16-17 June, 2005 was a strong opening gambit for that country to open up to the international financial and business community to focus on opportunities in the Ukraine.

With a GDP per capital of less than $2,000 and an educated population of 50 million people, with strong intentions to become closer and, maybe even to join, the European Union, this is a country with the potential to multiply its GDP per capita by 20 over the next 25 years. This country provides a very powerful (although still risky) opportunity for business, particularly now that they are conscious of the need to improve their overall governance.

See the 10 Corporate Commandments elaborated by business participants which could be a strong plan of action going forward.
