FRC appoints Miller to AIDB


New appointment to the Accountancy Investigation and Discipline Board

James Miller has been appointed to the Accountancy Investigation and Discipline Board of the Financial Reporting Council.

FRC Chairman Sir Bryan Nicholson said: 'I have great pleasure in welcoming Jimmy Miller as a new board member and believe his wealth of experience will greatly add to what is already a very strong board.'

Miller trained for chartered accountancy with Thomson McLintock, qualifying in 1965. He became a partner in the firm in 1974 and was head of the Glasgow office's audit and accounting Practice from 1980 to 1992, when he became head of the Scottish region audit and accounting practice at KPMG.
