QUMAS announced today that Forrester Research named the company as a leader in Governance, Risk, and Compliance Platforms in its recent report entitled "Forrester Wave™: Governance, Risk And Compliance Platforms, Q1 2006." The report compared QUMAS to nine organizations that provide governance, risk and compliance platforms, rating each company on the following focus areas: current product offering, strategy, and market presence. The technology providers were graded on a total of 99 types of criteria based on a detailed questionnaire, customer interviews, supplemental information, market visibility, and Forrester knowledge gathered from product demonstrations, briefings and ongoing research.
Forrester ranked QUMAS number one in two of the three main focus areas -- current product offering and strategy. As the overall leader in the current product offering area QUMAS had strong scores in documentation, assessment, loss event/incident management, overall technology, and customer satisfaction. QUMAS also came out on top in the strategy area, ranking high in terms of product vision, R&D investment, and strategic alliances. Forrester noted that QUMAS was "specifically focused on financial services and life sciences organizations -- and showed an amazing understanding of its platform for GRC in these verticals."
