Reforming and updating the basic legal framework for corporate entities is essential for sustainable economic reforms. The government is going to bring in a new comprehensive Company Law Bill with the focus on promoting greater transparency and good governance.
It is being increasingly recognised that the framework for regulation of corporate entities has to be in tune with the emerging economic scenario, for encouraging corporate governance and protecting the interests of the investors and other stakeholders.
