News Corp row worsens after 'anti-Semitic' jibes

It seems inconceivable that Judith Regan agreed the OJ Simpson book and program on her own, without the OK from her superiors. Nevertheless, it is understandable that the subsequent decision was taken to abandon the project, although it is surprising that they did not foresee the uproar.

On the other hand, if Ms. Regan´s diatribe is accurate, her dismissal is most definitely the correct decision. Mr. Murdoch should be congratulated for renouncing his relationship with a senior executive who has made him a lot of money in the past.

Mr. Murdoch should not be concerned if this story runs and runs. While it does, he should get the credit for his correct decision.
