DLA Piper is a proud sponsor of the First Annual DirectWomen Awards Luncheon. This luncheon will honor women attorneys who are serving as directors and the companies on whose boards they serve. This luncheon will attract leaders from the legal and business communities as well as organizations dedicated to the advancement of women in the profession.
DirectWomen is a project of the American Bar Association, the ABA Section of Business Law, and Catalyst, Inc. Its mission is to identify, develop, and support a pool of accomplished women attorneys in order to provide the qualified directors needed by the boards of American businesses, while promoting the independence and diversity needed for good corporate governance.
