Are the values of the company we work for and the moral principles that inspire our life in harmony with one another? What do we expect from our job? Just a pay and benefits package, or an opportunity to deploy our full potential? Should our profession have anything to do with our natural talent and skill? These are among the questions addressed by IESE Professor Santiago Álvarez de Mon in the book "La lógica del corazón" ("The Logic of the Heart"), written in collaboration with research assistant Mª José Sánchez Yago. The authors present an original proposal: give emotivity priority over reason in the conduct of "the business of management and the adventure of life".
