The ECGI's fifth General Assembly will take place on Thursday 19 April 2007 at the Institute for Law and Finance, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt. It will be followed by a keynote speech The New Vote Buying by Professor Bernard Black and an Oxford Union-style debate on the motion “This House believes that long-term shareholders should have double voting rights” proposed by Bertrand Collomb, Chairman of Lafarge and opposed by Guy Jubb, Head of Corporate Governance, Standard Life Investments.
