Transparency International has issued an interesting discussion paper on poverty, aid and corruption. It analyzes the billions in aid and other forms of development assistance provided by international organizations and focuses on the ways that both receiving countries and donors can minimize the illegal diversion of these needed resources.
As part of achieving the the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, these issues need to be resolved and this discussion paper is a good addition to the topic.
