Dealing with professional burnout
This morning, when the alarm clock went off, you didn’t jump out of bed. Your mind wasn’t racing with new ideas to try at work today. You weren’t thinking about that one big deal you could close. In fact, the only creative idea running through your mind was how to find an excuse to avoid going in altogether.
Face it: You’re burnt out. The job that seemed like a fantastic idea a few years ago has gone from filling your bank account to sucking the life out of you.
Professional burnout happens to just about everyone, and it’s like a disease. At first it attacks your personal morale, and over time, it takes over and destroys both your career and your personal life.
