Greenberg in AIG activist move

The interesting and amusing part about this is that, when he was in charge at AIG, Mr. Greenberg was the least likely to accept interference from outside sources, including from his investors.

Any sign of shareholder activism would be resolutely stamped upon.

Has Mr. Greenberg suddenly realized the virtues of this activity or is he just trying to get back into the driving seat at AIG, from whence he was ignominiously forced to remove himself? I wonder.....
