A catholic bishop in spain blames the victims in child abuse

There is a bishop in Spain, specifically in the Canary Islands, Bishop Bernardo Alvarez Afonso, who has just argued that many minors are happy with child abuse and, indeed, many encourage it.

If after this statement, this person remains in position, we will have another confirmation that the Vatican continues on its path of ignoring these issues or, if they become a problem, sweeping them under the carpet.

Let us hope that the Vatican has learnt from their US experience and rids itself of this individual and does not just transfer him to another position and putting other children in danger or, worse, ignoring the issue and leaving him where he is.
