Allianz Group, the insurance and financial services firm, has published its seventh sustainability report, highlighting its achievements on climate change and progress towards its sustainable development goals.
During the year, the firm established a centre of competence on climate change, to develop and transfer global best practice, and was ranked a sector leader in the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index. The Munich-based firm says it has invested €350 million in renewable energy so far, and is set to invest a further €150 million by 2010.
