The KPMG Audit Committee Institute, in conjunction with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), will host a webcast on April 7 to address issues pertaining to the corporate audit committee. The webcast, “Key Developments and Practices Shaping Audit Committee Oversight,” will focus on the redefinitions of audit and risk oversight in the midst of a mass loss of public trust.
The webcast will include a variety of governance and audit leaders, including senior partner Ira M. Millstein of Weil, Gotshal and Manges; William E. McCracken, chairman at IT management company CA; NACD president and chief executive Kenneth Daly; and executive director of the KPMG audit committee, Mary Pat McCarthy.ç
